Jayme completed her 200-hour teacher training with Tiffany Cruikshank in 2017 and is currently completing her Yoga Therapy certification with Essential Yoga Therapy. Additionally, she is certified as a Mindful Resilience Trauma Recovery yoga instructor for the Veterans Yoga Project.
While serving in the Military, yoga taught her that the simple moments we take for ourselves are the most important, no matter where you are or how busy life gets. These moments allow us to breathe and find stillness in our thoughts as we recover from our busy schedules and prepare for the days ahead. She discovered yoga to recover from injuries and found it a great foundation to prevent future injuries. She enjoys staying active, hiking, paddle boarding, and completing marathon races and triathlons.
She is passionate about leading yoga classes and providing private sessions for people with various abilities. Everyone can benefit from yoga regardless of their experience or skill level. She has taught yoga to residents at Retsil Veterans home, classes at local Veteran Centers, Tacoma Wounded Warrior Project events, local Kitsap studios, and CrossFit gyms.
She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and helping you find a yoga practice that works best for you.
